Here at Betarah Birds we raise a variety of species starting from the mischievous budgerigar, curious cockatiels in many colours, several different types of Conures, Quakers, Alexandrine, Black Headed Caique, Blue Fronted Amazon and Solomon Eclectus. Our flock is our family, everyone one of them has special quirks and personality that makes them unique to our flock.

Our baby birds are raised on premium quality Australian hand raising formula, they are raised in clutches wherever possible so they can grow within a flock for important bird flock behavior benefits. We begin the basic training process of step up and recall training to set them up for the future. All babies are fully weaned onto a mixture of seeds, pellets, fresh fruit and vegetables and sprouts and ensured they are fully independent before we allow them to leave.

DNA SEXING

All birds that we breed are DNA sexed with either blood or feather samples (with in reason - eg Eclectus that are sexually dimorphic).

DNA certificates are supplied upon sale of the bird.

FREIGHT

If you are not local and cannot collect the bird yourself we do offer freight. Our preferred method of freight is via air travel through Feathers & Scales Freight.
However other methods are available for same state locations via road freight that we can look into.

we reserve the right to decline a sale if the means of transport is not going to be favorable to the bird/s.

freighting an animal is at buyers risk and expense and full cost of stock, freight and enclosure is required to be paid prior to frieght booking being made.
